Trans Voices Cabaret

Started in New York City in 2017, Trans Voices Cabaret is an all trans and gender expansive cabaret featuring musical theatre performances and personal storytelling that celebrates and uplifts trans communities. Trans Voices Cabaret is intentionally joyful, bringing much needed levity and belonging in a world that continues to try to erase and isolate our trans and gender expansive communities. Brought to Minneapolis in 2023 and led by company member hal sansone, this departure from Sandbox’s typical focus on creating new plays stays true to our mission by uplifting new perspectives on pre-existing work and creating the worlds we wish to see.
