About the event
Can we fit an entire show into a suitcase? The Sandbox ensemble loves a challenge. 1 night. 5 different works-in-progress.1 suitcase each.As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, this performance also doubles as a fundraiser so we can keep creating for another 20 years.
Your night will consist of:
-Sandboxercise: leg warmers and duraaaaation.
-Daddy Dopamine: At the International Symposium for Gay Transgender Studies, Professor Hal Sansone presents a thoroughly and intimately researched lecture on trans daddies: who are they, where are they, and how do we connect?
-Old Hollywood: Inspired by real events behind-the-scenes of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"
-WHELMED: A miniature adventure of grand proportions to find the elusive realm of Whelm.
